This award recognizes a builder who is active in the association, community, and industry, and who demonstrates leadership, professionalism, technological advancement, customer service, skill, experience, innovation, and community involvement.

Requirements

Eligibility Criteria & Important Information

• Applicant must be a CHBA NS member in good standing.
• Homes must have been completed during the year of 2026.
• Applicant must submit in two other current award categories, such as Marketing and/or New Home Construction, to apply for Builder of the Year.
• Applicant must complete a minimum of two new home builds during the year of 2026.
• The same home or project may not be submitted in multiple categories.
• A non-refundable fee of $125 must accompany each application.
